The Sindh government has expanded its service to issue international driving licenses to all 11 driving license branches across the province. Previously, this service was only available at the Clifton branch in Karachi.

Now, Sindh residents with valid driving licenses can also apply online for an international driving license without visiting any branch.

According to DIG Training and Licensing, Iqbal Dara, the service was launched on September 14 from six branches in Karachi, as well as branches in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, and Larkana.

So far, the Clifton branch has issued 693 international driving licenses, while other branches, including Korangi, Malir, and Nazimabad, have also begun processing applications.
For those who prefer to apply online, the system allows applicants to obtain their licenses without visiting a branch. The permits are delivered through the TCS courier service.

DIG Iqbal Dara also mentioned that an online system is in place to pay the fee of Rs, 1,088 for the international driving permit. This new initiative aims to make the process more convenient and accessible to all residents of Sindh.
